WORLD FORUM IN THE HAGUE HOSTS THE WORLD WITH WHATSAPP

World Forum, the largest event venue in The Hague, as well as being home to the largest auditorium in the Netherlands, launches Whatsapp service to organisers and attendees.

During major events, World Forum can accommodate up to 5.000 people simultaneously. It is important that all these guests receive answers to their questions as quickly and efficiently as possible, so they do not have to miss anything of the event they are attending. In order to improve its services and the efficiency of its information provision, World Forum therefore launched the World Forum WhatsApp service on 1 June 2017.

 

How does it work?

The new service is available to all World Forum visitors: users can access the service before attending a scheduled event and during and after conferences. By scanning the QR code the service can be added. Visitors can consult the information service efficiently and at a time that is convenient for them, without needing to make a phone call. It is an extremely user-friendly way for guests to receive quick, expert answers to all their questions.

World Forum General Manager Michiel Middendorf states that the WhatsApp option will improve World Forum’s services and is in line with current trends. ‘We are providing a user-friendly option for the public to quickly ask questions and immediately receive a personalised answer that meets their needs. The public shows a clear demand for such a service, and if we can meet that demand we will have achieved our objective. Service is a key focus for World Forum, which means we must constantly exceed people’s expectations. This new WhatsApp service will certainly allow us to accomplish that goal.’
